I couldn’t have imagined a better outcome to my year serving Parker Toastmasters as its President.
At tonight’s meeting I was proud to speak about how far the club has come along in the last three years. This year we had unprecedented participation and enthusiasm by our officers and members. Our club had speech contests and we sent competitors to the area competitions. We had social gatherings and we met every goal. We achieved the pinnacle of club achievement – President’s Distinguished Club.
But all of that is only because each member applies his or her self to the task at hand – towards improving with every meeting attended.
